"I am humbled and honoured to be representing the NHS with Amanda when we are awarded the George Cross- it takes hundreds of thousands of us to make the NHS what it is today and I am so grateful to be part of and attending this prestigous event on behalf of such a wonderful team of people-from nurses, doctors, healthcare assistants to many many others," saad ng pinay.

"All of the staff in hospitals and our communities went above and beyond during the p4nd3m1c to look after p4tients despite the r1sks the v1ru5 posed to themselves, across health and care, staff sacrificed so much to look after those in need."

"The George Cross is a fitting tribute to them all."

Papangunahan mismo ni Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at His Royal Highness Prince Charles the Prince of Wales ang George Cross Ceremony na nakatakdang igawad sa Windsor Castle.

"I'm deeply honoured to represent the wonderful and dedicated people within the NHS and Social Care who has shown up everyday to care for our people and communities despite the challenges and sacrifices we've had to take posed by the p4nd3m1c," pahayag ni May sa kaniyang Social media post.

"We remember our fallen colleagues who has given the ultimate sacrifice and I cannot be more proud of our achievements as a whole. The George Cross is fitting tribute as we continue to fulfil our pledge to care and to serve our communities," dagdag pa niya.

"May, is one of hundreds of thousands of our fantastic members of staff that have served the country with compassion and dedication throughout the p4nd3m1c and over the last 74years.

"The world watched when May administered the first ever c0v1d v4ccine outside of clinical tr1al5 to Maggie Keenan in Coventry a year and half ago, kicking off the largest and most successful v4cc1n4t1on programme in NHS History.

"We would not be where we are today without the efforts of May and countless others who went above and beyond to roll out the v4cc1n3 at speed and precision."

"I am delighted taht May will join me for this momentous occasion-it will be another day for the history books for the NHS."
